Creators Update added another 7.5% this month, but at 72.5% it's still short of 91.2% that Anniversary Update reached in a month leading to the release of CU.

Provided some of PCs are still running the initial Windows 10 release and almost 3% are on the 1511 (Threshold 2) version, it's natural to expect that fragmentation will increase in the future and consequent releases will be less likely to reach 90% install bases.

Still, 72.5% seems quite low considering the next version is less than a month away.

As you can see most of "western" countries are at or above worldwide average, with rest of the world primarily below it.

Note: We have only included countries with at least 10 different PCs logged on the day data was collected.

The top 10 of PC manufacturers remains identical to the one observed last month with only minor changes in market share values.

Most major manufacturers seem to be at or above global average when it comes to Creators Update penetration. Lenovo and Acer are two notable exceptions.

Lenovo could probably be explained by their primary focus on business customers. We don't have a similar rationalization for Acer.
