Fall Creators Update has reached 85% of PCs.
This month, we look at the Fall Creators Update numbers in anticipation of the next Windows 10 update.
Fall Creators Update has reached 85% of PCs.
Two months ago FCU jumped up by 30%, last month by about 20% and now it added another 10%. The growth is obviously slowing down as the next update is imminent.
Note: we don't have the data for the initial rollout of the first update to Windows 10 (1511, also known as Threshold 2). So it's a straight line from 0 to the first data point we have on August 22nd, 2016.
In some countries (Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, etc.) FCU has over 90% market share. In other countries (China, India, and others) it's still in the 60% range. But the majority is around the global 85% mark.
The new Surface Pro continues to grow and is now third, while Surface Laptop is still stuck at 2% and doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
